Join us for Cut Homelessness on World Homelessness Day by helping people get back on their feet, one haircut at a time.
This World Homelessness Day (Saturday 10th October), we're inviting hair salons and barber shops across Melbourne to come together to help us Cut Homelessness!
The idea is simple. Participating salons make a small donation for every haircut, colour or treatment the provide on the day to support the work of St Mary’s House of Welcome.
Every service you provide will help ensure people experiencing homelessness can access hot, nutritious meals, showers, clean clothing, health and wellbeing support, and a safe place where they are welcomed with dignity and compassion.
One haircut can make a real difference.
How It Works
Getting involved couldn't be easier.
On Saturday 10th October, simply donate your choice amount from every haircut, colour or treatment your salon performs.
We'll provide everything you need, including:
- Posters and window signage
- Social media graphics
- Digital assets to promote your involvement
- Information about the impact your fundraising will make
When our local salons act together, small gestures turn into life-changing support for people doing it tough right here in Melbourne.
